Happy Monday all! The winter chill is starting to creep in and when that happens there is nothing better than snuggling up on the couch with a doona and a good TV show. For those of you who may be struggling to find something new to enjoy I have compiled a small list of men friendly shows. Enjoy!
Breaking Bad
Is an American crime drama series. It originally aired on AMC for 5 seasons from January 2008 till September 2013. The main character is Walter White, a struggling high school chemistry teacher who has been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. In order to secure his family's financial future Walter turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine.

Luther
Is a British psychological crime drama which first aired on May 2010 to July 2013 on BBC One. The main character is Detective Chief Inspector John Luther who works for the serious crime unit. Luther is a dedicated officer but also obsessive, posses and sometimes dangerous because of his fixations.

The Walking Dead
Is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama. It is based on the comic book series with the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. The series has a few main characters but is based mainly around Rick Grimes, a sheriff's deputy. The shows first season premiered in October 2010 on AMC and as since been renewed for a further 4 seasons.

Game of Thrones
Is an American fantasy drama which is an adaption of the boor series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin. The first season was aired on HBO in April 2011. The show is set in the fictional continent of Westeros and Essos at the end of a decade long summer. The series tracks the issues of social hierarchy, religion, loyalty, corruption, civil war, crime and punishment. With a lot of added nudity and gore. HBO have recently announced the renewal for a fifth and 6th season.

Is a science entertainment program hosted by special effects experts Adam Savage and Jame Hyneman. Along with their build team they put their knowledge of science together and test the validity of rumors, myths, movie scenes, internet videos and news stories.

Is an American comedy-drama which first aired in August 2007 and 6 seasons have followed on. It follows Hank Moody, a novelist suffering from writers block who moves to California. He is a big drinker and huge womanizer which always cause problems with the relationship he has with his long time flame Karen and their daughter Becca. The series also follows Hanks agent, Charlie and his wife. The show is filled with recurring themes of sex, drugs and rock and roll.

Spartacus
Is an American series that premiered in 2010 and ran through to 2013. The series was inspired by the historical figure and name sake, Spartacus, who led a slave uprising against the roman republic. There a four season to the show which all features strong graphic violence, strong sexual content and course language.
